once upon a time there was a sickness....

last week was a horrible week. i was sick for the majority of it, and when i get sick i usually get really sick. so i was sick with one thing and then got a secondary sickness which required medication that made me feel sick, oh and made my urine a very fun colour with a likeness to orange jello. then taking this medication not only made me feel sick it also created a new sickness. so lets count those that's three confirmed sickness' with the side effect of feeling sick. so i didn't do much last week, nor did i see anyone, but i did get to take a evening off work due to sickness. this week is much better one sickness is completely gone (the seconday sickness), the primary sickness has been minimized to a cough and a bit of flemy goodness... but that third sickness is hanging in there but soon, soon it will be gone. oh and the side effect of feeling sick has weakended to a general hatred of food for about 1 hour after taking medication.

so that is the story of my sickness

officially addicted

my good friend boi taught me how to check to see who has been coming to see my site, where they are from, and how they got to my site. she told me that i would get addicted to checking it, i didn't believe her but now i do. i check all the time, and i even check other peoples just to see if they have friends like me.

the conspiracy theory

there is a conspiracy against us. and who are the us i am talking about you may ask... well its us single women living on their own. and who exactly has the conspiracy against us? well i'll tell you!

its the companies that are manufacturing jars and containers. the ones who manufacture jars and containers that are almost impossible to open. and i'm sorry to admit it but i will, girls are usually weaker than boys. especially girls with weak wrists. as some of you may know i have weak wrists (even though i reign supreme at thumb wrestling). well i'm sick and tired of not being able to get into my pickle jars or that jar of spahgetti sauce, its just not fair.

when i'm at a loss and can get in i feel that the jar companies are laughing at me, and poking fun at me and saying "if only you had a man around, then you could enjoy our lovely product". they are against us, against us all! and what can we do about it? nothing really. i once heard of a girl who had pickles around her apartment for 2 years and could never find anyone to open them (i swear this is the truth). she finally took a pity date just so he could open the jar for her.... that she had to do that is absolutely disgraceful.

and another thing, by creating these jars to be sooo hard to open it is forcing the single girls to pump iron and train to build the muscle power needed to open the jars. this is just breeding a generation of butch girls, and really now we are being messed out of the chance of finding a great guy, cause lets face it, guys want girls who are "girly", and "needy", and what would we need the guys for if we could open the jars ourselves? ahhh!

please i just want easy open jars!

p.s. even though i am not single i am considered single in this situation as i can not drive 3.5hrs to get my boyfriend to open the jar and then drive back... that's just not environmentally friendly!

the frustrations of today...

1. it wasn't a snow day
2. my alarm went off and i wasn't ready for it to.
3. i had to drive to school before it was light and the sun still wasn't fully up when i go there.
4. my feet are sweating in my hiking boots.
5. i had to be outside for two hours so i'm wearing my long johns and i'm really really hot now
6. i went to mc donalds and had a coupon so i had two sandwiches and fries and drink and feel like crap now
7. my coffee is getting cold
8. i want to nap but cant
9. i hate dirt but now i have to go to a class dedicated to it.
10. nothing would make me happier than going home to a clean house but no its dirty and the christmas tree is still up.........


bah!!!!

the more time i spend at college....

i've discovered that my time spent at college seems to be directly proportional to the lose of my ability to deal with technology. i can't even hook up my tv right. what is with that? stuff like this use to come so easy to me. but i have aquired new knowledge that is useful everyday and everyone should be jealous... i can currently identify 15 urban bird calls... that's right i can identify them. i know you are jealous. soon i will know many many more bird calls and will know over 100 speicies of trees and or shrubs including the latin name... wow college is fun.

oh oh how could i forget this ultra important news. I found my cookies, that's right, after months of serching for my favourite cookies that i had in ireland i came across them yesterday in a store in quebec. i now am the proud owner of three boxes of raspberry "lu pim's" cookies. mmmm spongecake with a dallop of raspberry jam with a chocolate waffer on top of that. i'm not sure though if i'm going to share, so you better ask nicely....
